scoblic_045BWJ. Peter Scoblic is a fellow at New America, where he researches U.S. nuclear strategy. Previously, he was the executive editor of The New Republic and, more recently, of Foreign Policy, where he remains a contributing editor. He has also served as deputy staff director of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, where he worked on approval of the New START agreement and was Chairman John Kerry’s foreign policy speechwriter. In 2008, Viking Press published his book, U.S. vs. Them, which he wrote while he was a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He is a graduate of Brown University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in management at Harvard Business School.
